Hi, I’m Kalyn.

I am an Atlanta-based therapist with a specialty in sport performance psychology. My training in trauma-informed care, attachment and relational psychotherapies, and EMDR has helped shape a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative approach to help clients thrive.

  • From injuries to performance anxiety, to RED-S/fueling and confidence, I support women athletes through some of the most common highs and lows of sport. I also specialize in helping women navigate difficult dynamics with coaches and teammates, help athletes deal with sport-related trauma, and navigate transitions out of sport (planned or unplanned).

  • I support all athletes who compete in any sport, but I do have specialty working with Gymnasts, Competitive Cheerleaders, Dancers, Acro & Tumbling/STUNT, Figure Skaters, and other “artistic” athletes.

  • I am the inaugural and only embedded mental health provider for Emory University Athletics, and completed an intensive training with the University of Michigan’s Sport Social Work Certificate. I’m a member of the Clinical & Counseling Sport Psychology Association and the Alliance of Social Workers in Sport.

  • Yes! EMDR can pair well to anxiety and trauma-related concerns for athletes. We can discuss integrating EMDR into your therapy in our consultation call.
